As you certainly know, the aluminum heating radiators available on the market are not all the same: for the material used, for the construction technology (die-cast radiators and extruded radiators), for thermal characteristics and reliability throughout the life cycle. In a few words, there are low-quality and low-priced aluminum radiators on the market that hide great risks: they use gaskets containing asbestos, a highly carcinogenic material that is banned in Europe; the paint used is not very resistant to the degrading action of time and often contains elements that are dangerous to health (for example chromium).
But there is more: these radiators are not tested, have high percentages of defects and leaks, have no warranty neither after-sales service, the thermal yields declared are often not true and the brands are counterfeit. Many of the radiators from China sold as die-castings are actually extruded radiators, made by gluing together three different pieces which, one or two years after installation, will cause several leaks at the junction points and must be replaced, as well as generating damages resulting from flooding of the premises.
